Sealcoating is the process of applying a protective coating to asphalt-based pavements to provide a layer of protection from the elements: water, oils, and natural U.V. damage from the sun. This also greatly improves the curb appeal of any home or business.
Prior to application, the asphalt surface must be completely clean and dry. Poor adhesion will result without proper preparation. Pavement sealers are applied with either pressurized spray equipment or by hand with a brush.
A regularly scheduled sealcoating program will more than double the life of the asphalt, saving you significantly in the future.
Left unfilled, cracks in asphalt will allow rain and moisture to flow through pavement and erode base materials, ultimately resulting in potholes and pavement failure.
Hot pour crack filling involves heated up blocks of rubberized asphalt, in a specially designed melting kettle, and then applied directly to cracks. Hot pour also offers the advantage of quicker setting time. Once the filler cools, you can drive on it.
We offer both cold patch for temporary pothole help and hot asphalt strip patching for more permanent solutions.
